Established since 1975, for over 50 years Rainford Rangers FC have provided a grassroots football community and, through a dedicated committee and volunteer network, continue to provide all players and spectators with a safe, positive, and fun environment that meets the needs of the modern game. All of our coaches and volunteers are vetted via FA approved DBS checks, have up to date first aid & safeguarding qualifications, & a minimum standard of Level 1 FA coaching.

Rainford Rangers FC is a Charter Standard community club with football at the heart of every volunteer and club member. There are a number of success stories of grassroots players and coaches making a career out of football and sport, most notably former Premier League and England central defender, Conor Coady. Conor is currently playing for Wrexham AFC as they hope to gain Premier League status and make history, and often recalls his early playing days at Rainford Rangers as the foundation of his career.

We are proud to call the Graham Fenney Playing Fields our home and take pride in the fact it is often noted as one of the best maintained grassroots facilities in the region from visitors all across the North West.

Rainford Rangers FC continues to grow in numbers and reputation, and the committee look forward to continuing the tradition of ensuring the future of grassroots football for many more generations.
