Updated Safeguarding Children and Anti-Bullying policies

Approximately 4 million children and young people are involved in football. For the vast majority, this is a positive and memorable time which often leads to lifelong engagement with the game be it as a player, ballboy, official or mascot. But sadly this is not always the case. As such affiliated football remains committed to continuing to raise awareness of safeguarding, developing its support and training across the game, dealing with inappropriate behaviours and promoting best practice.
Every child or young person, defined as any person under the age of 18, who plays or participates in football should be able to take part in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from abuse. This is the responsibility of everyone involved in football. Football recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children and young people by seeking to protect them from physical, sexual or emotional harm and from neglect or bullying.
Affiliated football is therefore committed to working to provide a safe environment for all children and young people to participate in the sport to the best of their abilities, whether involved in grassroots or professional football (FA, 2018)

RAINFORD RANGERS ANNUAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2019

2017 was great, 2018 was outstanding and this year will exceed all others, Rainford Rangers are proud to announce their annual tournament on the weekend of 29th & 30th June 2019, held at our fantastic grounds within Rainford village, its guaranteed to be another great day.

COVID-19 UPDATE

THE LATEST UPDATED GUIDANCE REGARDING PERMITTED GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL IN ENGLAND

Following recent Government updates to the COVID-19 guidance , the FA now have updated guidance documents for adult players, coaches, facility operators, parents and care rs involved in re-starting grassroots football activity from Saturday 4 July.

These documents have been updated to reflect changes to social distancing guidelines which will come into effect from 4 July and the introduction of support bubbles which came into effect on 10 June .

The Government guidance for the phased return of outdoor sport and recreation can be found here .

The FA continue to be in active discussions with other team sports, Sport England and the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport about how we can secure a safe return to competitive grassroots football as soon as is reasonably possible.
